Resunate uses patent-pending technology called Semantic Intelligence™ to calculate your JobFocus™ score. When you input a job description into Resunate, it calculates a score based on how well the qualifications mentioned in your current resume match to the requirements of the job. This score is on a ten-point scale and is calculated by ranking the relevancy and depth of experiences for the information you provide in your resume, looking at both keywords and concepts. For example, if you are applying to an accounting position, mentioning you're a CPA alone may not increase your score, but mentioning you have a CPA and past knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley will likely help your JobFocus™ score.
To maximize your score, you can edit your resume manually by clicking on the on-screen preview of your resume. You can also specify a page limit and click on Auto Focus to instantly maximize your score and the amount of relevant information in your resume. We highly recommend doing this to increase your chances of passing through employer screening systems and getting noticed by employers looking for key skills.
