As a job applicant, you can use Resunate for free wherever you see an Apply to [Company Name] button underneath a job description on employer career sites. You will then be asked to create a resume for that job by uploading an existing resume, importing your LinkedIn profile or creating content from scratch. Once you've input all your resume content, you will be taken to a page where your resume will automatically be scored against the job description you are applying to. Your score is a measure of how well your listed qualifications match to the job. Your JobFocus™ Score is out of a ten-point scale and appears in the Score & Optimize Resume module. Scoring below a 5.0 is a strong indicator that you are either under-qualified for the position or that you need to add more relevant content to be considered for the position.
You can make edits to your resume directly on-screen. As you make edits, your JobFocus™ Score will automatically update. On average, for qualified candidates, it takes approximately 20 minutes to get within a score of 9.0.
Once you are satisfied with the edits made to your resume, click on the Apply Now button.
A box to customize a cover letter to accompany your PDF resume will be shown. Once you click "Submit application", the application will automatically be sent to an email address provided by the employer.
